The way of the Flies.
9 september 2016 - Hornillos del Camino, Spanje
Only 20km today so get up late at 7:00, what a luxury.
Set off out of Burgos at 8:00 into cool and windy morning. The usual how the hell do we get out of here feeling. However, as usual it went well with just a few steps along the wrong path. Life lesson there.
Stopped for breakfast on the way, amazing how much energy you get from a croissant and two cups of coffee.
To make the journey at little more interesting we had a stretch of 3km with a cloud of flies. Not so yummy.
Linda's new medication seems to be helping so we reached Hornillos del Comino in good spirits around 14:00. Found our hostel, had a shower then a restaurant.
Having enjoyed a really good lunch we are now chilling with a glass of local rosé and a book.
