The Road to Villacazar.

Got up much to late today. Last to breakfast of course then we hit the road. Again cold, keep forgetting that we are on a plateau 800m high. Soon caught by Philip the Irishman who was the reason we had a late night! Anyway off he went on his bike to find his wife.

To our surprise we found ourselves walking along a cannal. Apparently built to transport grain, we could have been in Holland!

As we were doing 20km we stopped several times. Without fail our fellow travellers are as friendly as possible. Chinese, French, Canadian, Irish, Brazilian whatever.

The last stop was great, farm animals running around and a selection of unusual sleep places including concrete pipes!

As we had left late it had got hot again which made the last five a struggle. Hostel is wonderful, like visiting your favorite grandmother who has made sure everything is perfect just for you.
