....and a jump.

12 september 2016 - Sahagún, Spanje

Weather forecast was HOT! So up at 6 and on the road at 6:30. We had agreed to meet the lovely JeongRan Lee our colleague on the Camino from Korea. Much better prepared then ourselves, she had a tourch. Strangely useful when there is no light.

Started well, stopped for breakfast on the way. Enjoying the cool of the high plains.

So 5km done then the long straight getting hotter by the hour slog to Calzadilla de la Cueza. Oh god 17km in one endless stamp.

Stopped once for the very worst coffee in Spain. It seemed to take a life time to see the town.

We had to reach the a booking which could not be changed so for the last time a taxi to bridge the remaining 20km to Sahagon.

Hostel is great, sort of Mexican kitch. Very good.

Out to dinner, also excellent. Now we are watching the weather. Interesting, they are predicting rain and maybe storms. Still relatively short walk tomorrow of only 18km. Nothing really.
