Wet and windy in El Burgo Ranero.

Ok we knew it would happen but still a surprise.

Forecast had said for the last two weeks that it would rain so when we left today there was a good chance we would get wet.

A cool morning but not as cold as we have had 15°. Only 18km to cover so we got up late (06:30), then enjoyed a good coffee with the owner of the hostel (Brazilian) then to the bakery for warm pastries straight from the oven.

As the morning progressed wind started to pickup, in the distance the clouds got blacker and closer until finally we had a full gale. A quick struggle to put on our waterproofs, rain came in like bullets!

One and a half hours into the storm. As my feet are still divorced from my boots I am still walking in sandals. Ice cold toes, poor me.

Arriving in the hostel we dived into the shower like we had just discovered warm water, bliss.

Decided to take the full lunch, fantastic, maybe the best meal we have had till now. As it had stopped raining we took a wander around the village which took 30 mins.

Weather lady on Spanish tv says it will not rain tomorrow but will remain cool.
