Last Steps into Ponferrada.

Everything packed we walked to cafe and had breakfast. Weather a little less cold only 10°,we headed off down the mountain.

Walking a stoney broken path through the low valleys to the suburbs and then the streets leading into Ponferrada. Passing the castle we made our way our way to the central station to book our tickets for tomorrow. Very quickly organized, train full no seats. OK plan B. Off to the bus station,10 minutes later all done. It take one change of bus but tomorrow we will be in Bilbao.

Spent the rest of the day walking around the town. It's OK. But that's all. Good castle.

As a close on our last day walking we decided to eat Thai, why not?

Linda and I have mixed feelings, in some way glad not to have to walk anymore but still maybe another week would be nice. Next time.
